The week of Monday May 6th, Caden hit the 41 week mark, and he tried out tofu (above) and papaya for the first time. He was a fan! That week Zane also let everyone know that his daddy was in Vegas for work... his teachers, grocery cashier, neighbors... :) Since I was flying solo most of the week, I tried putting he boys in the bathtub together. It was a success, and I only got mildly drenched from the sidelines. I need to somehow convince Zane to help me teach Caden the water-stays-in-the-bathtub rule!
Then a very exciting thing happened on Sunday! We left for our first family vacation as a family of four! We went to Hawaii - big island - for four nights. The boys did well on the flight, and I think all 3 of them were asleep at one point.
On that note, Caden has been really into his robot loveys for a long time now, probably since about 6 or 7 months. He has a blue one that he takes to school and two green ones at home (backup!), and we probably would have been in trouble if he didn't travel with us.
Zane loved our new car (aka, the rental), but he wasn't too sure about the car seat we rented with it!
After sitting on two airplanes, then driving to our condo, and waiting in the car for keys, Caden was ecstatic to be at dinner:
