We took Zane to see his pediatrician for his 4 month check up this morning. He's definitely more than double his birth weight now - when he slowed his wiggling enough for the scale to settle on a number, it was 15 lbs 5 oz! Our little man is also now over 2 feet tall, measuring in at 25 1/2 inches. That puts him in the 59th percentile for weight and 72nd percentile for height. She was also happy about how he's doing developmentally, and he'll get to start eating solids in about a month. Big stuff! He also handled getting his 2nd round of vaccines much better and stopped crying pretty quickly after it was all over. I think he was trying to act tough since his dad was there this time. :)
Oh, speaking of dad... we celebrated his very first Father's Day yesterday! Zane even wore a special t-shirt to let everyone know he has the best daddy ever. We started off the day running in the Furry 5k as a family of 4. It was Molly and Zane's first 5k! They both did great, and we managed to have a good time even if it was raining. Afterwards, the boys took a nice long nap while 'watching' golf. I think it was a success. :)
