chopped!

Zane has come a long way with his walking skills - he can now walk, stop, restart, turn, and just keep going... It still has that Frankenstein/Mummy feel to it with his arms sticking straight out in front of him for balance as he waddles around, but there's no stopping him!

We took advantage of our full weekend without rain and played outside a lot, including a short family run with a break for a little swinging at the playground before we all got too cold and had to get moving again.  Zane was super giggly while he was in the swing.

Notice his really long scraggly hair in the top picture?  It's gone!!! We got the bright idea that we could cut Zane's hair ourselves for his first haircut with the clippers last night... he's still cute, but it's definitely shorter than we had planned!  Hopefully his hair keeps growing as fast as the rest of him, and he'll have his floppy surfer 'do back in time for summer. :)
