p is for party, performance, parade, park...

A couple weekends ago (July 20th), Zane's school had a family social, and he was very excited about going to the party with Mama and Daddy. It was fun, and each of the classes from the toddler room up had a little performance. The two's class sung "True Colors." It was incredibly cute, and confirmed that Zane is not shy. :) There wasn't much singing, but they did all dance and shake their music shakers. Zane spotted one of his favorite teachers, Mr. Eric, mid-song and had to give him a hearty shout out by hollering "Eric!!!" while pointing at him. I think that was Zane's version of a dedication!

Then on Saturday we got to watch our neighborhood parade. Zane got to see a variety of fire trucks:

The DeLorean club (ok, so we thought this was cooler than Zane did... Maybe one day he'll see "Back to the Future" and think it's cool):

And of course the Seafair pirates and their ship:

Then on Sunday, we decided to go to a park to let Zane and Molly burn off some energy... Even though I was feeling pretty wiped out.

Here's a shot of me exactly one week before the playground day at week 38:

Maybe we should have realized something was up when I said I wasn't sure if I was up for our trip to the park... ;)
