At least Zane is fine! I've been under the weather with all of the above for the last 9 days and counting. Blah! I thought I was too old to get an ear infection - isn't that what babies get?? Thankfully Zane's been ok through it all, and hasn't seemed to have had more than a mild cold. That's my excuse for not posting in a while though.
The picture above is our new usual view of Zane - attached to our legs. We even make our way, somewhat slowly and backwards, around the house like this, with Zane using us as his own personal walkers. It's pretty cute :)
His new trick is letting go while he's standing up. "Look, mom! No hands!" At least he's falling onto his well-padded bottom when he's done showing off.
We're also just starting to transition him to one nap a day as he gets ready to make the move over to the next room in daycare - the waddlers! So far so good... he took a single 2 1/2 hour nap in the middle of the day today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way! It'll be easier to fit weekend errands around a single nap instead of two.
