happy 9 weeks!!!

Zane's 9 weeks old today... he's almost to double digits!  He celebrated his first Earth Day this week by wearing his more earth friendly chlorine free 7th Generation diapers. ;)  We also discussed trying out his gDiapers again now that he's bulked up a little more.  They're flushable and completely biodegradable diaper liners (and much less gross than cloth diapers!), so he was pretty excited to hear about them.  We've been told by friends that they're amazing, but when we gave them a try, he was still too small and we had leaks almost immediately.  Yuck.  In the spirit of Earth Day this week, it might be time to give them another try.  We'll let you know how that works out.  Diapers really pile up when you go through about 10 a day!

Zane's been "talking" more and making more distinct babbling sounds.  It's been fun having more conversation-like conversations with him!  He even seems as entertained by his newly discovered language as we are.  He's also getting a little less wobbly each day, so we decided to give his bumbo seat a try.  It's a challenge for him still, but it's pretty cute!
