sunny days

 

I've been slacking on the blog posts these days, but we've been out enjoying the sunshine!  It's been in the 70s and sunny! Gotta love Seattle summers!  It's actually been warm enough that I took Zane's warm fuzzy seat liner off of the BOB stroller finally... I think he rebelled about not having a cushy seat anymore and opted to push rather than ride in the picture above. ;)

When I was training for the half, I was inspired by one of my speed work days at the nearby track (I use the term "speedwork" very loosely - it's all relative, right?  Less slow is speedy in comparison to slow!) and Zane's super cute sneakers.  So I've been waiting for a sunny afternoon that was warm enough for Zane to wear a t-shirt and shorts for a photo shoot.  I got that opportunity this past Saturday!  I was so excited, and there weren't too many people when we went, so it was the perfect opportunity.  I'm such a nerd :)

 

Then Zane celebrated the 4th of July and continued his new obsession with golf clubs and golf balls!  He did watch lots of Wimbledon last week while getting ready for school in the mornings to balance out all of the golf with a little tennis.
